We told you yesterday that there’s a new unlock method that allows you to unlock your jailbroken iPhone (Any Generation) that running any firmware on any baseband by using SAM (Subscriber Artificial Module), this unlock works on ICCID vulnerabilities, so if you didn’t unlock your Jailbroken iPhone yet, hurry up before the guys on Cupertino patch it. But if you do unlock your iPhone Using SAM, it’s very important to you to save your unlock activation ticket. So the great iPhone-Dev Team has just released a new version of Redsn0w. Redsn0w 0.9.10b8 allows you to backup your unlock activation ticket and save it on your hard drive with just one click.
From the iPhone-Dev Team blog:
redsn0w 0.9.10b8 adds the ability to backup arbitrary directories or files from your device into a zip file on your Mac or PC. The new button is Extras->Even More->Backup and it requires your device to be jailbroken with the afc2 service enabled (most jailbreaks include that). By default it will backup your activation records from /var/root/Library/Lockdown, which is useful for everyone taking advantage of today’s SAM unlock using Loktar_Sun’s trick (more on that in a later post!).
